In an absolutely heartbreaking scene, French gymnast Samir Ait Said broke his left leg on his vault landing.
After breaking the lower part of his leg, medical personnel immediately rushed to Said's side, and tended to him for several minutes.
As he was carried away on a stretcher, the crowd tried encouraging Said through a showering of applause.
As Said's injury played for the whole world to see, Twitter reacted much like the crowd in Rio.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Why would anyone watch this 100 times?! Once is definitely more than enough.
