Miami Heat fans are pissed about the possibility of losing Dwyane Wade after he declared earlier this week that he will be available in the free agency market. This is because of the Heat's low-ball $10 million-dollar per season offer to him, which would be a drastic pay cut after receiving $20 million this past season from the team. Now some Heat fans are doing their best to help the situation as promptly as they can.

As DWade has been fielding offers from other NBA teams, including the Bucks and Knicks, a GoFundMe account has been created by some Heat fans who are trying to help raise money for their goal of $10 million to pay his salary back towards the $20 million, and to have him re-sign with the team.

Wade has been with the team through three championships, and has played through plenty of basement-dwelling seasons in his Hall of Fame-worthy career. Plus, DWade has arguably been the face of the Miami Heat franchise since the team drafted him in 2003 (unless you ask LeBron or Shaq fans, with him Wade won all of his rings with). It seems that Pat Riley and the Heat brass are either gunning for KD Sweepstakes in the NBA's free agency market, they are merely judging the perennial 34-year-old All-Star by his age, or both.

The organization is very good at preaching about family and it’s time they start practicing what they preach by not taking Wade for granted and taking care of one of their own. Let’s do whatever it takes to keep him in Miami-Wade County. If the team won’t pay him, we the fans will! Since their offer of $10 million is clearly not enough, let's match it and get him to $20 million.

According to the GoFundMe page, the Heat fans have this bone to pick for saving their star from jumping ship towards greener pastures.

At press time, the fund has raised $55 in nine hours since the account was set up on GoFundMe's website. For $20 million, and for Heat fans' entertainment, we're not so sure if DWade is crying with these gracious people shaking their tin cups for him, but it's the thought that counts.
