There are several reports that have come out over the last few months that suggest that the upcoming Rio Olympics could be a colossal disaster and make Brazil's second largest city look terrible on a worldwide stage. That being said, there always seems to be little bits of information to suggest that every Olympics will make a world-class city look terrible, and yet, organizers are usually able to pull it together at the last minute and put on a great show.

Still, you have to wonder when one of these huge events will finally tank. Given some of the things we're hearing out of Rio, the 2016 Summer Olympics might be the first real example of it.

On Tuesday night, Stephen Colbert had Tom Brokaw on his show, and he used his friend to segue into a segment about just how bad the Rio games could be. Over the course of four minutes, he brought up the fact up that several venues aren't finished yet due to alleged corruption, he talked about how Brazil has some of the highest violent crime rates in the world, he mentioned that first responders call their own country "hell," and of course, he touched on the Zika virus that is still running rampant throughout the nation. It makes the Olympics sound like so much fun! Er...

And these are just a few of the problems that the people on the Olympic committee are going to have to deal with it between now and the start of the Olympics. Check out the entire clip to hear Colbert break down why the Rio Olympics might be even worse than anyone is expecting.
