J.R. Smith's 7-year-old daughter, Demi, is most proud of him for not getting kicked off the Cleveland Cavaliers, she told ESPN in an interview before Thursday's Game 6 between the Cavs and Golden State Warriors. ESPN anchor Lindsay Czarniak asked Demi, "What is it like for you to watch your dad get ready to play this game?" and Demi, true to heritage, responded like a legend.

"I'm just proud of him because he made the championship without getting kicked off the team," Demi said.

I think JR Smith's daughter speaks for all of us.
May we all have parents, spouses, and children who set the bar as low as JR Smith's daughter
JR Smith just got roasted by his own daughter man 😭😭😭

"How great is that?" reacted Jamie Foxx, who sported a Team Swish hat and has been killing it on TV today.

Smith recently divulged how Demi inspired him to play defense this year. When he was collecting some of her toys to donate them and she protested, he told her she had to make that sacrifice so she could have new ones.

"She looked at me and said, 'Daddy what are you going to sacrifice?' I was like, wow. I had to think about it," Smith said. "What was I sacrificing?"

Demi is quietly becoming a star this postseason. Bring her to a post-game press conference, J.R.
