The third season of Katie Nolan’s Garbage Time on Fox Sports 1 debuted Wednesday night and it kicked back off with a bang. Nolan created a video bemoaning Tom Brady’s cheating ways through a remix of Beyoncé’s Lemonade.
Nolan deftly applies the Patriots fans’ predicament to the themes of Lemonade, painting Brady as Jay Z and fans as the sympathetic cheated-against protagonist, Beyoncé. Nolan, an outspoken Boston sports fan and Framingham, Massachusetts, native, has adamantly defended Brazy and claimed his innocence since Deflategate rumors—which alleged that Brady over-inflated footballs to gain an advantage—surfaced following the 2015 AFC Championship Game.
Beyoncé's Lemonade caused a massive buzz largely because of the many issues it exposed in her union with Hov and this video is able to hilariously leverage those same themes.
The NFL initially gave Brady a four-game suspension for last season, but that suspension was overturned, leading many to believe Brady had triumphed. However, the U.S. Court of Appeals recently reinstated Brady’s four-game suspension.
Nolan, Patriots fans, and NFL fans in general are tired of hearing about this. Just make this man serve a rightful punishment and then get him back on the field.
