In a recently released video, Russell Westbrook is seen telling a fan to "shut the fuck up" during Game 4 of the Thunder/Mavericks series on Saturday. The interaction comes while the referees reviewed a hard foul by Kevin Durant, which would eventually result in an automatic ejection after being deemed a flagrant 2 foul.
Earlier in that same game, a clearly upset Westbrook directed a "fuck you!" to a Mavericks fan.
The league fined Russ $25,000 for the outburst.
If Westbrook is already fired up, why would a Mavs fan want to get his attention and utter a single word? One guy wasn't so wise and learned the hard way.
The NBA will probably slap Westbrook with another fine in a day or so.
