Back in November, Deadspinreleased a bunch of images of Greg Hardy’s ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder that showed the injuries she sustained after Hardy allegedly beat her in 2014. Domestic violence charges against Hardy were eventually dropped after Holder refused to testify against him, but the photos and the police report that Deadspin also released seemed to paint a pretty clear picture of what likely happened between the two.

Hardy just did an interview with ESPN reporter Adam Schefter, though, and during that interview, he denied ever putting his hands on Holder. In fact, he went as far as to say that he’s never put his hands on any woman at any time.

“I’ve never put my hand on any women,” he said. “In my entire life, no, sir.”

Hardy stopped short of saying that he didn’t do anything wrong during his alleged incident with Holder. But he did tell Schefter that he was innocent with regards to the domestic violence charges.

“I will stop you there and say that I didn’t say that I didn’t do anything wrong,” he said. “That situation occurred and that situation was handled, but…saying that I did nothing wrong is a stretch, but saying I am innocent is correct. Yes, sir.”

The entire Hardy interview will air tomorrow afternoon on NFL Live. As of right now, Hardy remains an NFL free agent.
