It didn’t take long for Donald Trump to come to Tom Brady’s aid in light of the news that Brady, once again, has a four-game suspension hanging over his head. During a rally in Rhode Island earlier today, Trump started a speech by lending his support for his friend, who is being forced to deal with more fallout from the Deflategate scandal.
“First of all,” Trump said, “let’s start by saying this: Leave Tom Brady alone! Leave him alone. Leave him alone. He’s a great guy. It’s enough.”
