It’s been a looooooong day for Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley. They’ve had to sit through a 32-point Heat win over the Hornets as well as a 32-point Spurs win over the Grizzlies. And while the Trail Blazers/Clippers game has been slightly better than those two matchups (and by "slightly," we mean "the Trail Blazers might lose by less than 30!"), it hasn’t been enough to keep the TNT crew from going a little crazy during their segments.

At halftime of the Portland/Los Angeles game, Shaq tried to make a point about playoff basketball by talking about how the NBA postseason is different from the regular season.

“Playoff time is when you pull your jock strap up tight,” he said, “and you man up and you play.”

And Barkley responded by telling Shaq that NBA players don’t wear jock straps anymore.

“First of all,” he said, “people don’t wear jock straps no more, just for the record. That’s how old you are.”

Shaq then asked Barkley what players wear if they don’t wear jock straps.

“Tell me what they wear,” he said.

And Barkley used it as the perfect opportunity to make a joke about Shaq’s, er, “manhood” on national TV.

“Well, you wear a rubber band—and a peanut shell,” he said.
