Tonight Adrien Broner is going to fight Ashley Theophane in Washington D.C. for what should've been the super lightweight title belt (more on that in a second). And then, on Monday, he's reportedly going to turn himself in to Cincinnati authorities for nearly two week old charges, following an alleged felonious assault and aggravated robbery that went down outside a local bowling alley in January. In that incident, Broner is said to have pulled a gun on a guy over a gambling dispute that involved several thousand dollars before knocking him unconscious and taking the money.

His bond has already been established at $100,000.

Also, in sanctioned-fight related news, Broner lost his super lightweight title belt yesterday after he was unable/unwilling to lose .4 pounds to make weight for tonight's bout. As a result of that development Broner will pay Theophane $50,000 from his own purse. Additionally, if Theophane wins tonight he'll don the belt, but if Broner wins it'll remain vacant.
