Oklahoma City will have to make its trek into the playoffs without Monty Williams. The assistant coach hasn't returned to his duties since he lost his wife Ingrid Williams in a car accident on Feb. 9. He'll be out for the rest of the season to heal with his family, according toan announcement made by the organization. This was Williams' first season as assistant coach for the Thunder; he served as the head coach of the Pelicans for the previous five years.

In an inspiring display of faith and strength, Monty told those attending Ingrid's funeral that they should also keep the family of Susannah Donaldson in their hearts. Donaldson, the driver who hit Ingrid's SUV head-on, also died in the crash.

"That family didn’t wake up wanting to hurt my wife," he said in his moving speech. "Life is hard. Life is very hard. And that was tough. But we hold no ill will towards the Donaldson family."
