We're not sure if this is an homage to New York, or his favorite film series, or what, but Odell Beckham Jr. appears to have a fresh Planet of the Apes tattoo that takes up seemingly every inch of his back canvas. The project is a cover-up of the tattoo that formerly smothered Beckham's back, a tiger, which was probably a tribute to his days at LSU. It likely isn't the last time the Giants wideout will get tatted up, as he told ESPN last year that he plans to cover his whole body besides his wrists (so you can't tell when he's got a suit on).

The ink took four days to lay down, and was provided by Bang Bang Tattoos in NYC:

Anyway when it comes to tattoos beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For now it looks kind of cool...we guess?

We'll update this post when he's 80.
