DeMarcus Cousins stands 6-foot-11 and 270 pounds, making the athletic power forward a load to handle on the block and even deadlier with his jump shot from the outside. We can now add another bulletpoint to his basketball resume: point god.
Poor Gordon Hayward found out the hard way that if you're going to switch on to Cousins after a pick and roll, and Cousins is still out on the perimeter, you might want to D up before you get embarrassed. Hayward must not have known about Cousins's ability to put the ball on the floor, but by the time he became enlightened, Cousins had already brutally broken his ankles with a crossover that made Hayward hit the floor.
The Sacramento Kings are currently being smashed by the Utah Jazz, so maybe letting Cousins run point for the rest of the season isn't such a crazy idea.
