On Saturday night, Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon competed in a Rocky Balboa vs. Apollo Creed-like showdown, only instead of uppercuts and jabs, the two traded "Perfect 50s" during Saturday night's NBA Dunk Contest.

By some accounts, LaVine against Gordon rivaled Jordan vs. Wilkins, and effectually pumped new life into a yearly exhibition that's recently been branded "stale" and "irrelevant" by its critics. In the wake of last night's insane showdown, Complex News caught up with the two competitors to get a full post-mortem on last night's event. Check it out.
