Back in December, Ronda Rousey stayed true to her word and attended the Marine Corps Ball with a Marine who invited her to it prior to her fight with Holly Holm. We imagine it was the last thing she wanted to do at the time, given what happened during the Holm fight, but she kept the promise she made to Jarrod Haschert and got out of her house for the first time in a long time by attending the ball.

Rousey appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week and talked about the experience. In doing so, she revealed that, after the ball was over, she went to Hooters with Haschert and his friends. And while they were there, it seems she got into an argument with one of the Hooters waitresses about, of all things, herself. Somehow, the waitress didn’t recognize Rousey, so Rousey messed around with her by talking about how much she hated Ronda Rousey and that led to the waitress getting very offended.

“She was like, ‘Oh yeah, we have fights here all the time. We love watching Ronda Rousey’s fights,’” Rousey told Fallon, “and I was like, ‘Oh, I hate her. She’s the worst. She’s such a bitch. I can’t stand her.’ She got really offended. She was like, ‘No. She’s awesome, OK? We make lots of money in tips when she fights. She makes us a lot.’ She got into this whole big argument with me about me.”

Eventually, Rousey told her who she was, and the waitress responded by laughing and giving her a bunch of free wings (Rousey loves her wings, remember?). But that must have been a pretty embarrassing moment for the waitress. You can watch Rousey tell the story in the clip above.
