The Internet is a cruel, cruel place, and if you cry on the court or field (or podium!) during an emotional sports moment, it will turn you into a meme. Just ask…well, you know.

But despite that, Panthers cornerback Josh Norman let his emotions get the best of him after Carolina lost to the Broncos in Super Bowl 50 tonight and cried on the field at Levi’s Stadium:

For better or worse, Norman has worn his heart on his sleeve all season, so it’s not surprising to see him do this. But it’s a reminder of just how much NFL players—and all professional athletes—have invested into their seasons. So maybe...don't turn him into a meme?
