Chris Paul was just having one of those nights, man, in which you're so deep in the zone that nothing the opposing team does against you work. Not even a basketball thrown to the back of your skull.
DeMarcus Cousins just had enough of CP3 when he got zesty during a rebound attempt, so he gave him a piece of his mind with the salty throw. To be fair, Cousins could have hit him just to avoid the out of bounds call, but there seems to be a bit of frustration behind the toss.
Basketballs to the back of the head don't work against an in-the-zone Paul. The guard finished the night with a crazy stat line: 40 points, 13 assists, and eight rebounds.
