Daniel Bryan Reveals He's Been Suffering from Post-Concussion Seizures in First Interview Since Retirement

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion said he's suffered ten documented concussions in a 16-year career.

Daniel Bryan has been revealing more about his decision to retire from WWE.

The 34-year-old appearaed on ESPN SportsCenter for his first interview since announcing his immediate retirement from in-ring competition and speaking to ex-WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman, Bryan said he's been suffering with concussion-related seizures:

"One of the things that's been hard about this is I have had post-concussion seizures that I've hid for a long time. There was never any evidence to see why I would have these seizures but then we finally found some."

Bryan appeared on SportsCenter to talk about the severe impact head trauma can have and said he hopes his experiences can lead to a WWE superstars taking greater precautions to minimise the future risk of concussions.
