After firing David Blatt on January 22, the Cavaliers turned around and got beat by the Bulls at home. But since then, they have reeled off four straight victories, including an impressive 117-103 win against the Spurs on Saturday, one night after beating the Pistons on the road.

So what has been the secret to their success? Well, for one, they’re scoring a lot of points. They’ve scored more than 110 points in all four of their victories. But according to an ESPN report, another reason for their recent success is that the Cavaliers held a players-only meeting after Blatt was fired that is being described as “contentious.” Apparently, James Jones called the meeting at the request of the Cavs’ front office, and LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love spoke extensively during it and focused on accountability. The team's stars reportedly took responsibility for their own poor play at times this season and called for others to do the same. According to the ESPN report, LeBron and Kyrie also agreed that they need to start holding each other accountable more often in order for the team to be successful.

You can check out the full ESPN report here. These stories about players-only meetings always sound nice, but are you buying that the Cavs' meeting is the reason they've turned things around over the last week?
