Milwaukee Bucks star small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has a long name, long arms, and a great sense of redemption. In the first quarter of Tuesday night's Bucks-Heat game in Miami, the "Greek Freek" (just call him that if you have trouble saying his last name, and trust me, you're not alone), couldn't extend his albatross-like wingspan to stop himself from being posterized by Miami's Josh Richardson.
So the Greek Freek figured that it was an eye for an eye after that. In the second quarter, he went coast to coast on the left side of the court and literally took two long giant steps and banged on Hassan Whiteside, the NBA leader in blocks (3.97 per game)— with his left hand, mind you— like he had to send a message that he can cool the Heat crowd after being flushed on during the previous quarter.
How do you say "posterization" in Greek? "Poster-apolos?" Whatever the word, he certainly made the Heat learn with that banging rebuttal.
