Mike Tyson knows a thing or two about overcoming a devastating loss. Iron Mike lost to Buster Douglas in stunning fashion back in 1990. So after Ronda Rouseylost to Holly Holm a couple months ago, he shared this advice on Twitter:

Last night, Tyson appeared on Conan, and Conan O’Brien asked him to share some more advice with her. Tyson's advice got a little bit confusing towards the end, but it was still pretty decent advice nonetheless.

“Well, you know, she has to understand: We’re in the hurt business,” Tyson said. “And I don’t care if you’re the king of the hurt business, we’re in the business where we get hurt. She’s got to be seen. Come out the house, whatever. I seen she’s been around. Show your face, you’re human. It’s just unfortunate that she’s a Goliath. David’s a great king, he done great things, he built a civilization. He built a civilization! But he’s more famous for beating Goliath. So he’s never out of Goliath’s shadow. Like, the young lady Ms. Holm. She’s never going to be out of Ronda’s shadow. That gave her her life ticket, her meal ticket, and that’s a wonderful thing.”
