Matt Mitrione suffered a loss to Travis Browne at UFC Fight Night 81, but Mitrione is just lucky he didn't also lose his eye after getting accidentally poked twice. As he made his way out of the Octagon, Meathead had tennis ball-sized swelling over his eye. As we showed you earlier today, it was ugly. Just plain ugly.
After a visit to a nearby hospital, Mitrione shared his progress on Twitter and, guess what, he was still sporting a mean black eye.
And there wasn't enough ice in the world to make that thing look any better the following day.
Daaaaaaaamn.
