Kobe Bryant made his final trip to Oracle Arena on Thursday, and just like almost everyone else this season who's faced this historically great Warriors team, his Lakers were easily crushed.

Golden State, you see, currently sits at a ridiculous 37-3 in the standings, which means they're on pace to shatter the record set by the 1996 Chicago Bulls for the most wins in an NBA regular season.

And after L.A.'s loss in Oakland, Bryant (via ESPN) encouraged Stephen Curry to do exactly that.

"You guys have got to go ahead and make history," Bryant told Curry.

Bryant had a similar message for Draymond Green -- one that he wrote on a signed pair of his game-worn shoes.

Star struck by two players when I entered the league... G Hill and @kobebryant THANK YOU!!! Much respect!!! pic.twitter.com/ygzmaLYI4X

Is Bryant softening in his old age? Probably. Or at the very least, he realizes that his time in the league is coming to a close, and that the next generation of stars is ready to make its mark.
