On Friday, the Nationals traded pitcher Drew Storen to the Blue Jays. And while it caused barely a ripple in the sports world, Storen is making headlines today because of where he was when he found out that he had been traded. Apparently, Storen and his wife were spending some quality time together in the offseason, and he told reporters exactly what they were doing when they asked him today:
Wait, does know know what “Netflix and chill” means or…? If so, that convo with Nats general manager Mike Rizzo must have been...awkward, huh? And not just because he was being told that he had been traded.
