And still, Deontay Wilder is the heavyweight champion of the world. He defended his title against his challenger Artur Szpilka during the WBC heavyweight title bout on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This was the first time a title bout happened in Brooklyn in 115 years.

Just three days before the match, both fighters nearly came to blows on camera.

But the brief scuffle was broken up, and they saved their energy for the fight. It was intense from the beginning in the ring, but Wilder laid out Szpilka in the ninth round with this ill right cross that added to a total of 35 KOs under his belt.
