After three seasons as their Head Coach.

Black Monday, the day in which pretty much every NFL coach that will be canned is canned, is still six days away, but the Philadelphia Eagles jumped the gun and fired Chip Kelly this afternoon before the team's final game of the 2015 season.

Kelly coached three years in Philadelphia, coming over from the college ranks where he flourished at Oregon, and went 26-21 in his term as the HC of the Eagles. After winning the NFC East in his first season he found himself in second in 2014, as well as this year (and second this year isn't exactly an accomplishment since the division freakin' sucks).

The Eagles will hold a press conference tomorrow in relation to this evening's announcement. The team's interim coach for Sunday will be offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.
