The Based God also talks all things Warriors.

Lil B is one of the biggest celebrity Warriors fans in the Bay Area, but apparently, that isn’t going to stop him from working on new music with Cavaliers player Iman Shumpert. The Based God made an appearance on the Warriors World podcast this week and revealed that he’s got plans to get into the studio with Shump sometime soon.

“He definitely respects the Warriors and respects what’s going down in the Bay Area,” Lil B said on the podcast, before talking about how Shumpert’s teammates almost got cursed last season for stealing his cooking dance. “LeBron [James], Kyrie [Irving], and J.R. [Smith]almost got cursed, but Iman being the representative of the Cavs and knowing where the swag came from, he immediately cleared things up. It’s been good ever since.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Lil B threw a couple shots at his long-time nemesis James Harden—“He’s inconsistent,” he said. “He’s not a team player at all. He’s hard-headed”—and also mentioned how he’s still waiting on Kevin Durant to play him 1-on-1. According to Lil B, he has been working on his game and—get this—reading the NBA rule book to get better on the court.

“I’ve been working on my game, working on my shot, really just dealing with the backboard, embracing the backboard, working on my drives, and learning more about the game,” he said. “I actually just read the NBA rules. I’ve been reading the rules of the NBA and making sure, even if I’m playing streetball, I’m just trying to train and play the best, most honest ball I can.”

Reading the NBA rule book? That sounds like a blast!

You can go here to check out the podcast. Lil B joins it at around the 25-minute mark.
