Carolina is now 14-1.

The Falcons handed the Panthers their first loss the season Sunday, blemishing the NFL's lone remaining undefeated team, 20-13, in Atlanta.

Backed by a great performance from their defense and a huge day from Julio Jones, who caught nine balls for 170 yards and one spectacular 70-yard touchdown, the underdog Falcons got a little revenge for their 38-0 drubbing Carolina handed them two weeks ago in Charlotte.

MVP candidate Cam Newton finished with 142 yards passing on 17-of-30 and no TDs while rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Of course, some of the Falcons took the opportunity to stick it to their division rivals after the game like linebacker O'Brien Schofield.
