For weeks, it's a widely known fact that Chipotle is nothing to mess with. Several Boston College student-athletes, including members of the basketball program, found that out first-hand when they reported to the health services clinic with "gastrointestinal symptoms." In a statement released by the schoool, the unifying factor among those dealing with the specific medical issue is that they all ate from the fast food chain.

Boston College has confirmed that several BC students and student-athletes, including members of the BC men’s basketball team, have reported to BC Health Services complaining of gastrointestinal symptoms. The common factor among the students is that they had all eaten at the Chipotle restaurant in Cleveland Circle. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has been notified and is working to determine if there is a link to the ongoing national outbreak of E.coli. The Food and Drug Administration has issued information regarding this outbreak, which can be found on the FDA website.

Even though, according to a Boston College independent newspaper reporter, a warning was internally passed around to the basketball program, it's (understandably) so difficult to ignore the allure of a carnitas burrito bowl.

Now, they're paying the cost.
