Steve Kerr is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, but after undergoing back surgery in the offseason, he's been away from the team during its historic start to the season.

Luke Walton has been the man in charge who's guided the Warriors to a 15-0 record, but things haven't been as easy for him off the court, as he had his car stolen during a crime spree in his Oakland neighborhood.

NBC Bay Area has the details:

Walton's Mercedes Benz was stolen Tuesday by two suspects, who police believe are also responsible for a violent attack on a 75-year-old woman outside her home on Thursday. The suspects also took the woman's car during the attack, according to police.

No one likes being victimized by crime, and it's disturbing to see one particular neighborhood specifically targeted like this. But there is good news for Walton on the horizon: His Warriors will almost certainly set the NBA's all-time record for the best start to a season on Tuesday when they host the 2-11 Lakers -- even though Kobe Bryantmay believe otherwise.
