On Halloween, Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes was arrested in Maui, Hawaii after allegedly assaulting his wife in their Four Seasons Hualalai hotel room. According to Hawaii TV station KHNL, Reyes and his wife Katherine were arguing when he allegedly grabbed her by the throat and shoved her into a sliding glass balcony door.
Security contacted the police and Reyes was arrested for abuse of a family or household member.
Katherine informed police that she had sustained injuries to her thigh, neck and wrist during their altercation. We will update you with more information when it becomes available.
