No way, right?

Now that Ronda Rouseyhas lost her first UFC match, a lot of people are wondering: What’s next? For now, she’s going to need to sit out at least six months for medical reasons. But once those six months are up, there’s a very good chance Rousey will take part in a rematch against Holly Holm. She has to, right?

Her fellow UFC fighter Jose Aldo isn’t so sure. Aldo—who is scheduled to fight Conor McGregor at UFC 194—was asked his thoughts on Rousey's future after a training session this week. And he revealed that he thinks Rousey’s MMA career might be over.

“I think it’s really hard for her to return to fighting,” he said. “Her career has taken a different direction. If I’m making a lot of money doing movies or something else, I’d go that direction, too. Am I going to mess my face up getting punched in the face? You’re crazy. In my opinion, I don’t think [she fights again]. If she comes back, of course, she can [win the title]. She was always a fighter, but if I were her, I wouldn’t come back.”

Aldo is one of the only people we’ve heard suggest this. Do you think Rousey would actually entertain the idea of retiring?
