Does he have anything close to a point?

The Redskins' name is always going to be a controversial topic because it's a flagrantly racist term. It's controversial enough for Jason Hatcher to play the Redskin Card.

Hatcher, frustrated after losing to the Panthers, went on a mini-rant about how he thinks the officials are taking games away from his team. Specifically, he thinks that the nickname "Redskins" has plenty to do with the unfairness.

"Don’t single us out. At the end of the day, it’s the name," Hatcher said. "Don’t worry about the name. We’re players and we work our butt off too."

That's not a great argument. The Redskins' losses against the Jets and Patriots weren't that close. And it wasn't the calls that cost them today against the Panthers; it was the five touchdowns Cam Newton threw.

"Redskins" is still racist though...
