After their disappointing match earlier this year, there was some talk about Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiaoholding a rematch in 2016. That talk died down almost immediately after Pacquiao made Mayweather mad. But in recent weeks, Pacquiao has talked about holding negotiations with Mayweather’s camp again. So is the fight going to happen or…?

Mayweather says:

He has heard Pacquiao talking about a rematch and people have asked him about it, so he spoke with Fight Hype over the weekend and responded to the rumors.

“It’s all bull----,” he said. “What they’re doing is, once again, piggybacking off my name to sell pay-per-view numbers when he do go out there and fight again.”

Mayweather also said that he’s more than satisfied with the result of their first match.

“I dissected this fighter, the so-called ‘best fighter of our generation,’” he said. “I dissected him, probably 10 to 2, really 11 to 1, but it’s safe to say 10 to 2. ‘Mayweather is so boring, he’s this, he’s that!’ I’m boring enough to do the biggest and the best numbers in pay-per-view history.”

But apparently, he’s not interested in doing it again. Sorry, Pacquiao.
