Did you know that WWE is having their Hell in a Cell event this Sunday? We hope so, because judging by the spoilers form this week's Smackdown, you might not be aware of it. This is life in the lull period between SummerSlam and the Royal Rumble.
Anyway, here are the spoilers from WWE Smackdown, which comes to us from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.
- The show opens with Seth Rollins being booked in a match against a mystery opponent by Corporate Kane. The New Day asked for a match against the Dudleys, but got a match against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
- WWE Champion Seth Rollins defeated Cesaro; Stardust apparently has his own "Stardust Section."
- There was a weird segment with Paige and the rest of the Divas that ended with Paige challenging Nikki Bella to a match.
- Nikki Bella defeated Paige.
- Miz TV featured Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae, who introduced her new man: former NXT star Tyler Breeze (who has been called up to the main roster). Dolph apparently called Tyler a "lazy millennial."
- Sheamus and Wade Barrett (with Rusev) defeated The Lucha Dragons.
- Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated The New Day. Bray Wyatt gets on the Titantron and tells Roman he'd see him in hell. Then Bray and Erick Rowan come out and fight Roman and Dean.
