Not ones to let an act of violence by a borderline crazy person go to waste, Indiana Pacers fans heckled Matt Barnes tonight with a "De-Rek Fisher" chant, an obvious homage to the time Barnes drove 95 miles (without ever stopping to reconsider if it was a good idea or not) to "beat the s*it" out of the Knicks head coach:
Only time will tell if this is adopted by other fans throughout the league, or remains a Bankers Life Fieldhouse staple. After all, the new season is very young.
