Golden Tate's "Touchdown Catch" Is Supposed to Be an Interception

Are NFL catches really even a thing?

Either the NFL really doesn't know what a catch is or it's making up for the missed call that cost the Lions a game. Matthew Stafford connected with Golden Tate for a touchdown. Except it wasn't a touchdown. It was an interception. See for yourself below.

Tate doesn't have full possession of the ball, so it's an interception for Jonathan Anderson. That's how the referees initially called it. However, they reversed it after reviewing it. The result: Seven points for the Lions and mass confusion. You know something's wrong when even Mike Pereira is lost.

We've looked at that play 10 more times, and find it hard to believed based on the current guidelines that he was a runner #CHIvsDET
