UPDATE: Sting is reportedly scheduled to be on Raw tonight, according to PWInsider.com (via Wrestle Zone). It's unclear whether or not he'll be in the ring, but at the very least, we can expect to get some clarity on his situation.

The WWE confirmed the injury with a post on their website, but didn't elaborate or provide any additional information.

See original story below.

Sting reportedly suffered a neck injury during Sunday night's WWE Night of Champions event, and it's feared that it could be extremely serious.

It occurred when Sting took a turnbuckle bomb from Seth Rollins, and Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio speculated that the injury was so significant that it could ultimately be career-ending. Trainers came into the ring to check on Sting after it happened, and the match finished a short time later.

As soon as any additional information becomes available, we'll be sure to pass it along.
