On Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones discussed Dez Bryant's foot injury, revealing that the star wide receiver's broken bone would take "six full weeks" to heal. The initial report indicated a timetable of four to six weeks while others have speculated that the recovery process could take upwards of eight weeks

With so much talk about when Bryant could possibly return to the field for Big D, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White threw his opinion and medical background into the fold while on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. “Me and Julio [Jones] were talking about the whole situation,” he said. “When [Jones] heard that [Bryant] broke his foot he was like, ‘He’s got the same injury I got.’ And, you know, we had to shut [Julio] down for the whole entire year. So I just don’t see him making it back this year.”

Why would Roddy toy with the emotions of Cowboys fans at this time? Even though White does have something to base his opinion off of, every foot injury is the same.

Still, there is always the lingering possibility that he cannot return as early as Jones speculates or at all this season. Plus, Dallas needs to also think about his long-term health. They havea lot of money invested in his future
