Recently, Lyft asked Cubs star Kris Bryant to drive one of their cars around as part of the "Undercover Lyft" series. And as you'll see in the clip above, Bryant did everything he could possibly do to get people to recognize him, short of screaming, "YOU $&%^$#! IDIOT, IT ME!" But somehow, no one did.
There was one guy who thought Bryant looked familiar…but that's only because he had another Lyft driver not too long ago that looked like him. Seriously, dude?
Bryant's star is still rising, so we wouldn't blame people outside of Chicago for not knowing who he is. But when you're driving by Wrigley Field in the front seat of a car with him, how do you not know who he is? C'mon, people!
