Yesterday, during their opener against South Dakota, the Kansas State marching band pulled off a halftime dig at their in-state rival Kansas. Their defense (see: alibi) for their routine is that the above video is a depiction of the Starship Enterprise attacking a Jayhawk. However, they failed to foresee that most people know the Enterprise doesn't have massive testicles.

Afterward they apologized without confessing:

We apologize for anyone offended by our halftime performance depicting the starship enterprise and the Jayhawk mascot.

And at least showed enough respect not to leave a few band members on the Jayhawks' chin.
