Floyd Mayweather's boxing career is almost over. We highly doubt that it's going to end next week after he takes on Andre Berto, regardless of the story he's trying to spin in the press right now. But at 38, Mayweather isn't getting any younger. So at some point in the near future, he's going to retire from boxing and move on to something else.

What will that "something else" be, though? According to him and Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, it might just a career in Hollywood. During a conference call with reporters last night, Ellerbe revealed that Mayweather has received three "major" movie offers in the last week. He didn't go into the specifics surrounding any of them, but he said that there are "significant" possibilities for Mayweather out there.

That being said, it doesn't sound like Mayweather is ready to challenge any of today's actors. When asked whether he wants to act, he said that he'd prefer not to be in front of the camera if he ever got involved in making movies.

"I've been approached on numerous occasions [to act] but I'd rather be behind the scenes," he said. "I've had my time to shine."

At any rate, we don't see Mayweather transitioning into movies anytime soon. There's no way this Berto fight is going to be his swan song, right?
