The bad news for Bulls fans on this, the first day of practice, is that Derrick Rose got injured. The good news (we guess?) is that it wasn’t an injury to either one of his knees. The former MVP suffered a left orbital fracture after taking an elbow to the face in a scrimmage from a guy who’d better hope he isn’t an undrafted free agent. Rose will have surgery tomorrow, with no timetable yet established for his most recent “return.”

We'll update if/when we get more info.
