Roy Jones Jr. Randomly Met With Vladimir Putin to Ask Him About Obtaining a Russian Passport

What the hell is going on here?

When we posted a story about 46-year-old Roy Jones Jr.knocking some dude out and then blabbering on about his new album on Sunday night, we were pretty sure that that would be the most random Roy Jones Jr. story we would ever post. At the very least, we assumed it'd be the most random Roy Jones Jr. story we would post this week, right?

The boxer just managed to outdo himself, though. A short time ago, photos of him and Russian President Vladimir Putin popped up online. And apparently, it's because Jones Jr. sat down with Putin in Crimea earlier today to talk about getting a passport in Russia. What does he need a Russian passport for? We have no idea—seriously, what could Jones Jr. possibly want to do in Russia?—but Putin told him he could have one…if he plans on spending a large portion of his life living in Russia moving forward.

We don't know what the real story is here. But we hope Jones Jr. told Putin to put in a good word with his people about his album. This  looks like it's gonna be a BANGER:

Sigh.
