UPDATE:

Police are now reporting that the individual who was shot is a 29-year-old man named Armando Montalvo who is reportedly "fixated on a female wrestler." Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings just held a press conference and revealed that the man has been involved in incidents that have taken place at the WWE Performance Center in the past. TMZ Sports is reporting that the incidents have ranged from violent to downright bizarre:

The wrestling org got a restraining order against Montalvo earlier this month after a string of violent run-ins at the facility. Earlier this summer, the WWE says Montalvo spread his feces and urine on the building. He even posted video of himself mixing the human waste and reduced fat milk in a bucket.

According to Demings, two deputies approached Montalvo today outside of the WWE facility. The man—who may have been armed with a knife—did not comply with multiple requests made by the deputies and reportedly charged at one of them. That deputy retreated about 100 feet before eventually firing a single shot and striking him.

Montalvo reportedly suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound during the incident and had to undergo surgery. We will continue to update this story as new details emerge.

Unfortunately a deranged individual with no WWE affiliation, who had a court order prohibiting him from being on WWE property...(1/3)
