It only took 34 seconds for Ronda Rousey to beat Bethe Correia in UFC 190 last weekend, but Correia remains persistent in her pursuit of a UFC championship belt. And she hopes that she'll have to go through Rousey to get it.

While speaking with the Brazilian MMA television program Combate, Correia was adamant in her commitment to winning a title belt: "I promise I will fight for the belt next year. In 2016, I want to write a different story. I want, above all things, to be respected. I want a triumphant return. I won't accept ending 2016 without a UFC belt on my waist."

You have to admire her confidence. Though, as we learned in the lead-up to UFC 190, Correia is lacking none of that.

However, she wasn't finished. Correia continued, saying, "If [Rousey] still has the belt next year, I will meet her again. I will get that belt. I think Ronda will be dethroned and I hope I get to do it. Everybody loses at one point."

We'll see. But, so far, Rousey doesn't look ready to give that title up any time soon.
