Stephen A. Smith Sends Out Controversial #BlackLivesMatter Tweets, Talib Kweli, Killer Mike, and Others Respond

Stephen A. Smithhas said a lot of really stupid things onFirst Take, SportsCenter, and other ESPN shows over the last few years that have rubbed people the wrong way. But he took a particularly uncomfortable stance on Twitter this afternoon that has a lot of people scratching their heads right now.

After sending out a series of sports-related tweets this morning, Smith suddenly turned his attention to the recent controversy involving Presidential candidate Martin O'Malley saying, "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter," during a conference while discussing police violence against African-American people. O'Malley was booed off stage at the event and later issued an apology for his choice of words. But in Smith's opinion, there was nothing wrong with what he said. Here are the tweets he sent out:
