Earlier this week, a video of Florida State quarterback De'Andre Johnsonpunching a woman in the face in a Tallahassee, Fla. bar recently surfaced online, and it was obviously very disturbing. Johnson cocked back and hit the woman after they got into a verbal confrontation that may or may not have started with the woman using a racial slur. But regardless of why Johnson hit the woman, the fact remains that men should not hit women under any circumstance.

It seems it's happening more and more these days, though, especially in the sports world. So Fox & Friends invited frequent contributor Dr. Keith Ablow on to their program this week to discuss it. And he tried to make one of the most ridiculous arguments we've ever heard. His theory for why some men hit women? Gender equality as a whole and, more specifically, gender equality in sports. You know, because how are guys supposed to know not to hit girls when they grow up playing sports with them?

"It's a new era where, you know, people think it's just fine, let 'em play ice hockey with the boys and wrestle with the boys," he said. "Why? Why would we be doing that?"

Later, he continued: "Listen, if you're saying that it's just fine to flip a girl onto her back in a wrestling match and pin her to the ground and take some joy in that, well, then I guess if you're in a bar and she slaps you, you punch her in the face. Not in Ablow's world, because you'd never be wrestling her to begin with."

Uhhhh…what? There's no way this guy actually believes what he's saying in this clip, right? Watch the full segment if you dare in the video below. But just a warning: You're going to struggle to keep up with his line of thinking, and it may actually make your head explode.
