Dellavedova-mania isn't just sweeping the nation, it has definitely made its way to his home country of Australia. Since Kyrie Irving suffered a season-ending fractured left kneecap, Matthew Dellavedova hasn't really lit up the scoreboard, but his solid defense on Steph Curry and endless grit have made him an invaluable asset in the Finals. Now, in honor of what Delly has done to help give his Cleveland Cavaliers a 2-1 lead over the Golden State Warriors, CEO of the Central Goldfield Shire, a government area in Victoria, Australia, Mark Johnson told 3AW Breakfast that they are attempting to rename his hometown gym after him.

"That's where Matt Dellavedova learned his craft and the Maryborough Basketball Association have suggested that the stadium, which is a two-court stadium, ought to be renamed after Matthew," Johnson said. "He's certainly put Maryborough on the world map, it's just fantastic. Obviously there's a process to go through."

Dellavedova's impact has been far-reaching as kids have been cutting class in order to watch the 24-year-old play. Best part of it all, if everything goes as planned, the arena will be called the "Dellavedova Dome." Yeah, this needs to happen.
