If NBA Draft picks learned anything last night, it was this: You need to be very, very, VERY careful about what you put out on Twitter when you're in high school and college if you have any chance of being drafted into the NBA one day.

Larry Nance Jr. discovered that after he was selected by the Lakers in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft only to have someone dig up a disrespectful tweet that he sent about Kobe Bryant a few years back. And Bulls draft pick Bobby Portis went through the same thing after someone dug up this old tweet that featured him taking a shot at his new teammate Derrick Rose:

They also found this old tweet that featured him taking a shot at Pau Gasol:

Welp! Fortunately, Portis wasted no time issuing an apology and asking both players what kind of donuts they'd like for next season:

Bulls Nation sorry for the tweets I sent 4 years ago. I was a boy then. I'm a man now. And a Bull. DRose, Pau, what kinda donuts yall like?

But hopefully, this will encourage younger players to think before they tweet about NBA players. You never know who you're going to end up playing with in the future, guys.
